The 2018 New Year's Day swim went ahead despite an unfortunate early injury when Ron K broke his wrist before even reaching the water. However, while he was taken off to A&E the traditional footy game went ahead (7-3 to MK,MH &TM) before the foaming Enoch Burn was tackled in a relatively benign +4 degrees.
